Seawater Lemonade is a mix of observation and commentary.  I do not pretend to be an expert. Of Polish and American origins, I hold a B.A. in International Relations. I am currently based in Madrid, Spain, working for the Education Ministry.  Altogether, these experiences have given me a unique, if sometimes too opinionated, perspective. After three years of living on and off in Spain, it has become a very special place to me–and it’s made me curious as to why the morale has gotten considerably lower with passing of time.  As I began working in the public school system, the political changes became increasingly apparent. In between filling out applications to graduate school, I think it´s equally important to record some of my observations.  Since I’m not a Spanish national, it’s been and continues to be a learning experience in language, culture, and travel.  And of course, an often intense refresher of my lectures and reading from college.
